Getting Started
Introduction
Do you know what's really great about meditation?
You don't need
any special equipment, or to be with special people, the great thing is that
you can meditate anywhere, any time - all you need is you!
Meditation is 'my time'.
It is a time
where you can be with yourself. A quiet time where you can listen to your
heart.
You might like to create a special place for your meditation. A place where you keep
things that remind you of your heart.
It might be a
shell from your favourite beach, or a leaf from a forest, or a picture of
your family.
Remember this
is your time, so don't let anything distract you.
Afterwards
After your meditation, you might
like to sit quietly for a while longer, to gather the feelings from your
meditation. You may wish to write some notes or a poem in your diary,
compose a song, paint a picture or whatever.
To
